With the highly anticipated opening of the new Centre for Student life it is an exciting time to work within Cardiff University’s Student Life Division.
This post will play a key role leading and managing the Academic Skills and Mentoring Service, which supports student transition, driving forward proactive developments. The service delivers a programme of Academic Study Skills workshops and a peer mentor service for first year undergraduate students.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to design and deliver educational projects, work collaboratively across an organisation, and experience of managing a team.
We are seeking a candidate with experience and enthusiasm for working with key stakeholders (Academic Schools, Student life Services, Students Union) to ensure that the service meets the needs of students and enhances the student experience.
You will support the Head of Disability and Access Support and contribute to the strategic development of the service and its integration within Student Life.
The post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended.
Salary: £43,434 - £50,296 per annum (Grade 7)
