The Accounting and Finance Subject Group are delighted to invite applications from exceptional individuals in the area of corporate and financial reporting. The Subject Group has an excellent and vibrant research environment and is ranked 67th in the world according to the QS rankings and 1st in the UK by the Guardian.
Applications from colleagues with interests in financial and/or sustainability reporting are particularly welcome. We would also be very interested in applications from colleagues whose work may have policy implications and strengthen our efforts for connections with practice.
The University welcomes applications at Professorial, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer depending on experience, both for the research and teaching (R&T) and for the learning, teaching and scholarship (LTS) tracks.
Appointees will have the opportunity to join the Adam Smith Observatory of Corporate Reporting Practices. The Observatory is a research hub focusing on global corporate reporting practices, its activities are actively supported and co-funded by accounting professional bodies (e.g., ACCA and ICAS) and its main objective is to generate and promote innovative, practice-oriented, and academically rigorous research.
Salary: Professor within the Professorial range and subject to negotiation, Senior Lecturer, Grade 9 £53,348 - £60,022, Lecturer Grade 8 £44,706 – £51,799. Plus, a generous 21.6% employer pension contribution.
