Do you want to support the development of the hydrogen economy in the Midlands? Are you able to identify opportunities and develop project ideas for our partners and industrial organisations working in the region?
The role holder will join the HyDEX programme (see hydex.ac.uk) within the Energy Research Accelerator team, which is hosted by the University of Nottingham and is the largest energy innovation programme in the country. Reporting to the Project Director, the key objective for the role holder will be to actively support the delivery of the programme’s business engagement targets for the project. The role holder will develop strong links with the hydrogen sector in the region and establish a strong community. Responsibilities will also include development of a series of business engagement events to promote HyDEX, supporting commercialisation of products and services and contributing to the development of marketing media for HyDEX. The role holder will be expected to travel across the Midlands to meet clients and deliver project activity. Some international travel may also be involved.
The role is fully funded by Research England.
This full-time (36.25 hour) post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2024 (with possibility to extend subject to funding). Job share arrangements may be considered.
Location: The base location is at the University of Nottingham (Jubilee Campus) or Tyseley Energy Park (University of Birmingham) and we would be happy to discuss hybrid working arrangements.
