The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Accounts Payable Manager to join our finance team. This is the perfect opportunity to work in a professional, friendly, and supporting finance department at an established London-based university.
This role is ideal for someone who is an experienced accounts payable manager, who has a proven track record working in a time pressured environment. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication, organisation and training skills. They will have a positive attitude to overcome obstacles that lie in wait, and - importantly – a warm personality.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the day-to-day management of the accounts payable section, particularly prioritising workload of yourself and the team. This will include certifying payments to students, staff and suppliers are in line with the university regulations and meet University payment terms. Also, checking, authorising and when needed creating Bacs files for payments. Plus, reconciling purchase ledgers monthly.
