This includes the delivery of technical teaching to MSc students and Degree apprentices as well as the ability to explain complex technical concepts to managers.
There is an expectation that the appointee to this role will take up the position as Discipline Group Lead for Data Science & Mathematics managing a team of around 10 academic staff and taking a lead on curriculum development in the area of Data Science. Discipline Group Leadership positions are usually held for a 3 year period in the first instance.

We are supportive of staff with caring responsibilities including a generous maternity/paternity/adoption/parental leave policy, and onsite childcare facilities. We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
