We have a 0.8 FTE contract available (4 days per week) and are looking for a new colleague who can help drive our service forward at this time of exciting change within Student Welfare at the University.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of providing short-term counselling within a public sector setting and be skilled in working with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds, as well as with a variety of presenting issues.

Candidates must hold BACP Accreditation, UKCP Registration, or equivalent registration with HPC/ BABCP/ BPS/ BPC as a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist/ Counselling Psychologist. Applicants who do not meet the requirements for professional accreditation/registration will not be considered for this post.
This position will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Any offer of employment made is conditional on receipt of a satisfactory DBS check.
The starting salary will be £35,333 per annum with progression once in post through the salary range. A higher starting salary will be considered for exceptional candidates.
Interviews will be held on 8th and 15th March.
