The role
We are seeking a Translational Research Manager to join us in making a difference to people’s lives by helping us to identify and support translational opportunities from our portfolio of Health and Life Sciences research. The role holder will be a key member of our Translational Research Hub which seeks to drive our translational assets along the translational pathway, by providing dedicated, in-depth guidance and discussions of the translational potential of assets and developing detailed personal actions plans to unlock that potential.
What will you be doing?
You will work with world leading academics to identify the unique opportunities for translation and partnering presented by their research and to develop relationships with external partners to deliver those. You will also provide dedicated, in-depth guidance, contributing to applications for funding and project-manage promising early stage translational projects. The role will be primarily focused on digital health interventions but given our diverse portfolio of assets, the ability and willingness to provide support across a broad range of modalities and indications would be an advantage.
We offer a hybrid working arrangement, aiming for a minimum of one day a week in-person at our city-centre offices.
You should apply if
The successful candidate will have a track record of translating health and life science research, a good understanding of academia and direct experience of working with or in industry.
If you are passionate about realising health and societal benefits from the cutting-edge research being undertaken by world leading scientists in one of UK’s most vibrant cities, then we’d be interested in hearing from you.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 20th February 2023
