Surveys Officer

Salary from £32,960 to £37,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £40,432 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term part-time appointment until 31 July 2024 for 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

The Teaching Quality Assurance and Review Office (TQARO) is seeking applications for a part-time Surveys Officer to join our team. It provides an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the School’s infrastructure and support a major strand of TQARO’s activity, developing and administering the teaching evaluation and educational experience surveys for students on non-standard courses and programmes – such as for Executive taught master’s studies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is well organised and confident in handling large amounts of data to assist with the development and implementation of bespoke educational evaluation surveys, alongside supporting the administration of standard teaching surveys. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. They should be self-motivated, with effective communication and analytical skills. Experience of university administration and knowledge of surveying software would be distinct advantages.

In addition to managing day-to-day administrative duties, the role also offers the postholder the chance to contribute to processes which will enhance the service delivery of the survey operation across the School.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
