We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Co-ordinator to work within the Admissions team. You will have at least 12 months knowledge and experience of completing a full Admissions cycle in a Higher Education Admissions post. This role will have a responsibility for ensuring service levels are met including making UCAS and Department for Education (DfE) offers, compliance i.e., DBS and health checks, fee assessment and UKVI requirements and the ability to play an interactive role in Open days and similar events.

What you’d be doing:

  • Processing both undergraduate and postgraduate offers using the University’s systems and also external agency portals
  • Managing course interview process
  • Responding to enquiries, both written and by telephone
  • Administering compliance checks ie DBS checks
  • Working collaboratively with other teams and departments
  • Continually reviewing processes and external agency requirements
  • Working with the Senior Registry Co-ordinator to provide application data and analysis
  • A typical day is 830 to 430 with an hour for lunch but there is a degree of flexibility with this, Monday to Friday

  • This post has no line manager responsibilities.

You’ll need to enjoy:

Where you’ll work:

In this role, you’ll be based in the Admissions team, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth. Within the Registry office, you will work closely with other Registry based teams.  After successfully completing your probationary period, which will be completely campus based, our current hybrid working policy means you can work from home or on campus, but you will be required to maintain strong campus links and be available on-site at least 3 days per week.
