The H2020 European project SESAME (Secure and Safe Multi-Robot Systems - https://www.sesame-project.org) offers a fixed-term Researcher position up to 31 December 2023 focused on developing testing and verification techniques to assess the safety of robots and support the analysis of robustness and resilience of robotic system designs and implementations.
We are seeking an enthusiastic researcher capable of making significant contributions to the development and validation of tool-supported approaches for testing in simulation safety and security properties of mobile robots. You will develop techniques to assess the robustness and resilience of robots in the presence of system faults, cyber-attacks, and unexpected environmental conditions. You will advance existing test-data generation techniques, and propose new adequacy metrics for these robots. You will work closely with researchers from the other research organisations of SESAME to deliver, validate and disseminate the planned research advances, and you will collaborate with the SESAME industrial partners to maximise the impact of these advances.
The role can be filled at Grade 7 or Grade 6 and is fixed term up to 31 December 2023.
