 We are a looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Prospect Research Officer to join our highly motivated and ambitious Development Services Team.

Your primary objective will be to identify and understand the capacity and affinity of individuals, trusts and organisations within the University’s sphere of influence. Based on your findings you will present the evidence base, making recommendations and informing allocation of high value stakeholders and work with colleagues across the institution to develop relevant and successful cultivation strategies.

You will work with large volumes of information that is at times complex and sensitive, so rigour and an eye for detail is essential, as is the ability to make the complicated easy to understand.

Interested and curious, you will keep abreast of industry developments and have the desire to make a difference within the sector, Salford and Greater Manchester.

A bit about Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations… 

The role sits within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations; the ‘front door’ of the University. We provide a range of activities that engage with our external stakeholders including graduates, students, businesses, and our local community.

Within the Alumni Engagement & Development Team specifically, we are dedicated to retaining a life-long relationship with our graduates. We identify and unlock sources of philanthropic funding across our alumni, charitable trusts & foundations and corporate partners for the benefit of our students, campus and communities.
