The Talent and Development unit is a central service within the People directorate at the University, focused on interventions to support employee journeys. We are recruiting a People Partner (Development) to manage key programmes and pathways of talent development across the University, including management skills and induction. This role will be the institutional lead on mentoring and coaching programmes for all staff, maintaining existing structures, and developing new opportunities in response to shifting staff and organisational needs.

There is an expectation that you will be the team lead on these four streams of development, including having a robust management plan in place for them. This will include attendance monitoring, quality assura! nce, need s scoping, evaluation, data analysis, advertisement, planning and impact assessment. Your dedication to overseeing these critical development services will play a crucial role in demonstrating the overall success of the University's Talent and Development strategy.
A key requirement for this position is that you have solid, demonstratable experience in a directly comparable talent and development role. A coaching and/or mentoring qualification, or experience in running mentoring or coaching programmes is essential. This is a campus-based role, we benefit from hybrid working with a requirement to be on campus a minimum of two days per week for delivery and team activities, with an expectation that you will spend more time on campus in the early stages of your induction.
