The role
The successful role holder will be responsible for the management of projects in the Bristol Innovations Core Team in RED. The project manager will support Sector Specialists to develop Innovation Special Purpose Vehicle business cases. The role will develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders. The role has responsibility for ensuring that all the necessary support is in place to maintain and expand exciting new projects in a complex environment.
The ideal candidate will be a pro-active and strategically minded individual with good business acumen and strong leadership skills who is able to support and help drive forward projects. A good understanding and appreciation of both external partner cultures as well as academic cultures and environments is essential, as are strong project management skills, experience of research and its management, and good collaborative relationship-building skills.
