Job Summary
The Campus Services Communications Team has a unique opportunity for a creative and passionate Communications Officer to join our small, dynamic team. As a Communications Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the communications output for a service within the College’s Campus Services directorate. We provide an agency-style service to the division, offering strategic, branding, copywriting, digital and communications support. This will involve overseeing multiple creative projects and delivering innovative and effective communications solutions aimed at internal and external audiences, online and offline.
Duties and responsibilities
You will play a key role in the planning and implementation of Campus Services communications and digital media projects. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for articulating the communications approach for one of our teams, the design of all types of marketing collateral and the operational delivery of projects and their evaluation. You’ll be able to take a project from ideation and pitch all the way to design and production.
You’ll undertake a wide variety of creative projects, including managing and creating promotional campaigns and brand identities; the design and production of printed and online materials; writing impactful copy; and overseeing website and social media projects. It is important that you are an independent thinker as you will need to be highly organised, creative, analytical and proactive.
If you are looking for the next stage in your career, you could be just the person we’re looking for.
