We are really pleased to be recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to come and join us! This post is a fantastic opportunity for someone just starting out in project management as we are looking to provide you with formal training and share our expertise!
Who are we?
We are National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Co-Ordinating centre, hosted within the School of Healthcare, Enterprise and Innovation. The NIHR helps to fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. Our research helps turn discoveries into new or improved treatments, diagnostics, medical technologies and services. It provides those working in the NHS, public health, global health and social care with the evidence they need to better support patients, the public and people who need care.
Who are we looking for?
As this is a training and development post, we are looking for somebody with a keen interest in project management. You don’t need to have had prior experience although this may be advantageous. We are looking for someone who will be passionate about the work they do and committed to their learning and development. Some of the key skills we are looking for are:

How do we look after you?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so rather than take our word for it why not listen to our staff about what it is really like working here:
We also know that the world of work has changed and so we are open to flexible working arrangements and work in a hybrid way with staff expected to attend our Chilworth offices around 20% of the time.
We are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and equality of opportunity. We select candidates based on merit and ability. We welcome applications from all with an interest in the role and those who are committed to helping us create an inclusive work environment.
