The London School of Economics and Political Science is looking for a Senior Public Affairs Officer.

LSE has confirmed its position as a world-leading research university and its research spans the full breadth of the social sciences, from economics, politics and law to sociology, anthropology and finance. The School has revitalised its public affairs strategies in the light of political change affecting Higher Education.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a political environment, such as the Houses of Parliament or an in-house public affairs role, a strong understanding of strategies and methods to influence policy-making and political discourse, and a good knowledge of the Higher Education sector. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate understanding of the development and implementation of political and stakeholder engagement programmes. They should have experience working with a wide variety of senior external stakeholders and providing advice and support to senior internal stakeholders.

We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
