Applications are invited for the above permanent full time post working in the Vice-Chancellor's Office.
Duties will include the successful delivery of key Bangor University corporate events, including inaugural and public lectures, and VIP visits, which contribute to enhancing the University’s reputation and raising its profile among target markets and audiences.
The post holder will be expected to drive forward improvements in processes and systems to support the delivery of excellent events which enhance the reputation of the University.
The post holder will be educated to a degree level (or equivalent) or possess significant vocational experience, acquired through a combination of job-related vocational training and career-based experience. Experience in a comparable setting, providing high quality, events planning and management, whilst dealing with corporate events and high profile visits is essential.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh or demonstrate a commitment to learn to a specified level is essential for this post.
The successful candidate will be expected commence as soon as reasonably possible.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
