The Role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to act as a Research Impact and Engagement Coordinator for a new national Research Hub for Decarbonised Adaptable and Resilient Transport Infrastructures (DARe).
The post holder will work alongside the Hub Co-Directors, Professor Phil Blythe and Professor Roberto Palacin, the Research Project Manager, and the Communications Officer to support and deliver impact aligned to the project's aims and objectives internally and externally.
Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the project's administration relating to impact and engagement, ensuring suitable procedures and reporting mechanisms are in place to ensure synergy across the project's funders.
You will be naturally collaborative and support the research team's ambition and vision to inform and influence policy and stakeholders, both nationally and internationally, engaging with policy experts and a network of organisations from academic and industry.
You should have a A-levels/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent significant relevant experience in a research administrative setting demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding relevant work/roles.
Additionally, experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.

The appointment is offered on 0.6FTE basis (0.6FTE of 37 hours per week) and is fixed-term, tenable from the earliest start date to April 2027 in the first instance.
