The Advancement Office at the University of Bath is looking for a Finance Officer to provide maternity cover from December 2023 for a period of around 10 months.
The Finance Officer is responsible for finance administration in the Advancement Office, including managing the processing of gifts and donations to the University, disbursing funds to other departments, tracking income and spend and monitoring the department's expenditure against budget. The Finance Officer line manages the Gifts Administrator and works with colleagues within and outside of the department to ensure donations and gifts are acknowledged promptly and are spent in line with donor wishes.

Ideally you will have experience using Microsoft Excel and Agresso, but we are happy to provide training if required.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a step up in their career and gain experience in leading a finance function with line management responsibility in a small but busy department. This role is offered on a full-time (36.5 hours per week) basis with hybrid working arrangements.
