The School of Health is looking to appoint a Practice Learning Administrator to join the Practice Learning Team.
The Practice Learning team supports students, apprentices and staff with the administration and co-ordination of practice learning for health and social care courses based at the City Campus. This role is one of 5 practice learning administrators, who support the wider team and academic colleagues to secure placements in the NHS and other health and social care organisations.
You will provide high quality administrative support to academic staff across the School of Health, including supporting practice learning development and delivery; monitoring practice learning within a bespoke database; supporting employers and educators; developing and disseminating policies and processes, reports and data requests and arranging and minuting meetings.
The role promotes and supports partnership working between all stakeholders to enhance practice learning and quality assurance, placement capacity and communications in line with the School’s Strategic Plan and the unit’s operational objectives.
We are looking for a flexible, efficient administrator with excellent IT, communication, and customer service skills. Ideally, you should be familiar with general administration processes as well as student information systems or similar CRMs. An understanding of the University structures and quality processes would be an advantage and direct experience of working in a customer focused environment is desirable.
To arrange an informal discussion about this post, please contact Jen Reeves at J.A.Reeves@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
Closing date: Wednesday 25th October 2023 (23:59)
Working here means you’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and global majority candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post. All appointments will be based on merit.
