Are you a graduate seeking a role working with staff and students in a dynamic team environment where no two days are the same? The Executive Support Officer will provide professional executive support to the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education and Students) and her leadership team. This will involve organising events, preparing papers, policies and consultation responses, managing a programme of social media and student communications, providing project support and professional secretarial support for university committees and groups, managing an action log of key deliverables and the Pro-Vice Chancellor’s diary. The postholder will also need to work with discretion and tact, handling sensitive student casework and liaising with staff and other parties supporting students.
You will be a proactive individual, able to undertake complex administrative work efficiently and accurately, using initiative. Your ability to synthesise large amounts of information succinctly will enable you to communicate effectively to a range of audiences. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and easily develop and maintain good networks and working relationships with colleagues at all levels, as well as with external stakeholders.
