About the role
In this role you will prepare and support students to obtain work-related experiences, in line with our strategy. You will focus on managing work experience activities which includes design of work related learning modules, internship programmes and career fair activities. Your aim will be to ensure that work-related experiences are fit for purpose, effective and provide the very best experience for our students. The role will aim to increase the prospect of students securing work-related experiences with external stakeholders, whilst offering ongoing support to internal stakeholders.
As a key member of the Careers & Employability team you will work collaboratively within Careers, and with Schools and Colleges to achieve the best outcomes for students.
About you
You will be skilled in building successful professional relationships; designing, developing and delivering work experience programmes and initiatives; measuring and evaluating impact; with experience of using technology to enhance and scale up service delivery.
With experience in a comparable role, you will be able to display experience of delivering student support for employment. As a self-starter, motivated by providing the best experience for students, you will understand the different needs of both internal and external stakeholders. Understanding the complexities of HE, you will also be comfortable in a target driven and result orientated environment.
