In this role you'll support all of the work delivered by the UK and Events team, developing your skills in event administration and customer service.
This is a varied role where you will be working with co-ordinators across the team, contributing your ideas and bringing fresh perspectives to the work we do. You'll have the opportunity to get involved with our large scale events, from Subject Masterclasses through to Open Days (see www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/events for details on these events).
Your work will include responding to enquiries by email, collating resources and equipment, planning staffing, gathering attendee and evaluation data, and organising small scale events such as a College tour programme. It is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to develop our events both in-person and online.
Temporary cover: This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for 10 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is earlier.
Part-time: This is a part-time role to the equivalent of 3 full days per week. We are open to flexible working patterns.
The UK and Events team
Our experienced and friendly team coordinate a wide variety of events and resources for prospective applicants, their parents and teachers in order to encourage applications to the University. We engage over 40,000 students and supporters each year through events such as Open Days and teacher conferences. You'll work to support other members of the team on the varied range of events and activities we run, giving you a real insight into the full range of activities we offer.
