Applications are invited for a scientific writer to provide temporary assistance to an Academic with writing journals, proof reading draft reports and papers, formatting documents and turning sketches into figures for papers or PowerPoint presentations.
Candidates should have a degree in a scientific subject (preferably, in physics, chemistry or materials science), a flair for creating scientific prose and excellent communication skills. A track record in publishing or journalistic writing would be an advantage.
The position is available on a temporary basis until 31st January 2023, but may be extended. We also welcome applications from candidates looking to work less than full time.
