About the role

Applications are invited for a 1.0 FTE Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Education with expertise in SEND and Education Studies. You must have experience working in relevant sectors and an understanding of teaching an online community of learners.

As a member of the Discipline of Education, Childhood and SEND team, you will have teaching, supervision, and research responsibilities and work collegiately with colleagues teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, on campus and online programmes. Please note that this is not a Teacher Training post and students progress from our degrees to a range of occupations and destinations, including health, social care and education.

You should have a passion for education and teaching and be able to link theory to practice in the Higher Education environment. You will be able to share your experience of research and teaching in the education sector and will hold a Master degree in a relevant subject discipline.
