The Student Recruitment, Admissions and Widening Participation (SRAWP) department is looking to recruit a Student Transition and Success Officer on a two-year fixed term basis. This is a key post in delivering the University’s Access and Participation Plan, which seeks to support underrepresented groups of students to access and succeed in Higher Education at the University.
You will support current widening participation (WP) students at Liverpool to establish solid foundations on campus and succeed within their studies by increasing their engagement in University life (academically and personally) in order to maximise their progression onto graduate employment or further study.
The post is based within our Widening Participation team. Prior experience of working in a widening participation focused, or student success team within HE is essential.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals who identify as; male or gender-fluid/non-binary and candidates of all genders/gender-identities from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds and or identify as; living with a disability and or being a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Plus (LGBO) community, as these groups/individuals are currently under-represented within the SRAWP department.
You will have a Degree (or equivalent) or relevant professional experience.
