Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is seeking to appoint an experienced and talented Systems Analyst to join its innovative, fast-paced, small but dynamic Business Systems and Data team (BSDU).

You will take the day-to-day operational management of the College’s Student Information Management System (UNIT-e) that underpins the pivotal administrative tasks that support academic activities and legislative reporting throughout the student journey.

Proactively contributing to the ongoing development, configuration, maintenance of UNIT-e, providing of technical and user support for all interfaces and integrated applications. Co-ordinating the implementation of new modules and extensions, deployment of enhancements and change requests. Helping to ensure that systems remain compliant, fit for purpose and that utilisation of systems is maximised across the College.

As someone who enjoys problem solving, enhancing systems, and optimising solutions, you will also be highly analytical, organised, and ready to work in a thriving and energised environment, you’ll also be a strong communicator who is confident working with and influencing a variety of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in managing and configuring a Learner Management System or similar information system
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing systems and processes that meet the diverse needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • They are accurate, solution-focussed, and dynamic with the ability to build highly effective working relationships so to provide the best possible support for our customers
  • Experience in productively co-ordinating and contributing to project work.
  • They can positively respond to new situations and demonstrate a resilient and flexible mindset.

You will be working across a range of technologies and systems, primarily UNIT-e, SQL and ASP.NET and given the opportunity to further develop specialist skills on the job.
