We are seeking and enthusiastic and engaged specialist to support 3D animation and visualisation software in the School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to software skills training and support research in this area, across the School. As a member of the Lens Based and Digital Learning Team, the successful candidate will ensure that students have the required software skills to achieve successful academic outcomes, and to prepare them to work in a professional environment. The postholder will support 3D animation and visualisation software commonly used for character animation, rigging and visual effects compositing and guide students through the visual effects pipeline. The postholder will also support research in this area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional, with experience of working in industry, to develop and share sk ills, as well as contribute to work around new and emerging technology contributing to cutting edge research.
