Applications are invited for an experienced and highly motivated data engineer to join our established IT Services Team at the University of St Andrew, the Top Ranked University in the United Kingdom as stated in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024 and in the Guardian University Guide 2024. This permanent role is well suited to a forward-thinking individual with skills and experience in data warehouse development and maintenance, who is seeking to progress their career in a busy and innovative workplace.
It is an exciting time for the University and IT Services with digital enhancement playing a major part in the shaping of the University’s future. You will play a key role in embracing new technology, managing change, and helping to deliver the University’s digital strategy.
You will be a practicing Engineer with experience in data warehousing throughout the entire ETL process from data ingestion and documentation to reporting. You will be joining a team of experts working on a range of stimulating projects, using the latest technologies and partnering with top tier vendors.
