The Campaign and Alumni Relations Office (CARO) engages our global community of more than 340,000 alumni, in almost 200 countries, so that they continue to thrive. We offer opportunities for alumni, friends and supporters to stay in touch with the university and encourage them to give donations and volunteer their time to support students from a wide range of backgrounds and to contribute to research that changes the world.
We are seeking a motivated Communications Officer who will help us to achieve our aim of stewarding our generous donors through regular touchpoints, including magazines, newsletters and social media. You will also play a crucial role in supporting our Regular Giving team in fundraising campaigns throughout the year by producing engaging content.
What’s more, you will be responsible for delivering communications to our alumni and donors in the Asia-Pacific region and will work closely will CARO colleagues in Hong Kong, managing the multi-platform content that will form the Asia-Pacific communications plan.

Reporting to the Communications Manager – Fundraising & Donor Retention, you will help in the delivery of high-quality, engaging content describing the impact of donations to our existing supporters, across print and digital publications. Alongside this, a portion of your time will be spent working with our Asia-Pacific team and Head of Communications & Events on delivering Asia-Pacific-focused content to inform alumni of the latest Asia-Pacific related news, events programmes and general university updates.

The post is offered on a permanent contract, blending time in shared workspaces across our award-winning Nottingham campuses, with remote working. We welcome applications to work full-time (36.25 hours), or part-time within a minimum of 21.75 hours/week.
