The opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Organisation Development Consultant to join our diverse and friendly team at UAL.
This role sits within our Organisation Development and Staff Development (ODSD) team, supporting the delivery of strategic people and culture priorities. Through the work you will undertake in this role, you can help us make a difference to the experiences of our staff and students.
As OD Consultant, you will work on a wide range of organisational development initiatives with a focus on developing forward-looking people policies, equipping managers with the skills and knowledge required to support their staff, and working collaboratively across the organisation to promote staff engagement.
This role will be a perfect fit if you enjoy building relationships, providing expert consultancy, and thinking creatively to introduce new and diverse ways of enhancing employee experience and wellbeing.
About you
The ODSD team is a dynamic environment - we work on a wide range of projects across the entire organisation. As such, we are looking for someone with a proactive approach, with experience in staff engagement, HR policy, wellbeing and, ideally, organisational change.
You will need to be able to explain complex ideas to a wide audience and, as such, you will excel at and enjoy communicating with a variety of people, whether in person or in writing.
Our work also relies on a culture of continuous improvement and meaningful consultation with our key stakeholders, meaning you will need strong organisational and digital skills, including the ability to collect, analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative data.
The full list of requirements can be found in the person specification of the Job Description (available on the university's website, accessed by the 'Apply' button).
