The opportunity:
We are looking for two Data Officers to work on the new Scottish Climate Intelligence Service (SCIS) Programme at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI).
Interested in being part of a project that supports delivery of climate action in Scotland?
Join the Climate Partnerships team at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute to work on the SCIS programme where you will provide technical expertise and support to Scottish Local Authorities to scale up and deliver climate action. The role will include providing support to the team in collecting and analysing datasets, helping to inform methodology developments for the Scotland-wide dataset to provide insights for local and national government policy, supporting the team in the creation and delivery of workshops, identifying and sharing best practice with the local authorities, and supporting other spatial data projects.
You’ll be joining the Climate Partnerships team within ECCI; we are a team of 12+ working on various programmes to support delivery of climate action by private and public stakeholders across Scotland. SCIS is a partnership between the ECCI and the Improvement Service.
This post is a full-time position (35 hours per week). We’re a hybrid working team, with an expectation of working at least two days a week in the office in Edinburgh, and with the option to work in the office more frequently if preferred.
