About you

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual who can provide excellent administrative and financial support in a complex international research environment. You will bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and proven experience of providing high-quality administrative support in a busy environment, including diary management and event co-ordination.
  • Experience monitoring budgets and processing financial transactions, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and online collaboration tools.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work independently, take initiative, and contribute positively to a diverse and international team.
  • A flexible approach with the resilience to manage multiple tasks and priorities, sometimes under pressure.
  • Fluency in languages other than English is an advantage; proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian would be particularly beneficial.

Experience in managing large, diverse project budgets, working with international partners, and knowledge of university systems (e.g. Agresso, SAMIS, Business Objects) would also be advantageous.
