We are looking for a programme manager for an exciting multi-funder, multi-site, research project led from the University of Cambridge. This is a fixed term position which will run until 31st January 2028 in the first instance, with a likelihood of follow up funding.  Offered part-time for those able to work a minimum of 3 days (22.2 hours) per week.

The role of the Programme Manager will be to assume overall responsibility of managing this large collaborative project, liaising with the lead Investigator, the Executive Committee, the Research Operations Office, the co-investigators and institutional leads in participating institutions, and the funder (NIHR). The role-holder will be based in the Department of Psychiatry, Clinical School in University of Cambridge and will report to the group lead, Prof. Graham Murray.

The Mental Health Mission is a multi-million-pound investment in psychiatry research infrastructure. Part of its work (mental Health Mission for Psychosis) is led by Cambridge to establish a robust and sustainable national platform for research in early psychosis. To achieve this, we will harness interdisciplinary collaboration between world leading data, clinical and biomedical science experts, with patients and public front and centre of platform development. Core aims are to establish a national registry and to recruit 2,000 individuals with early psychosis, with clinical and biomarker information and processes to recontact for future research studies.

Our programme will facilitate the development of future collaborations between clinicians, academics and industry, with PPIE, to improve the UK landscape for psychosis research with the aim of improving treatment options and outcomes for psychosis. The Mental Health Mission for Psychosis is a large, strategically important project with multiple partners and a tight timeline for delivery. This necessitates an experienced appointee.

There is the option of taking on additional studies in Prof Murray's research group, including VOLABIOS, EPICare, and ARIADNE - a collaboration with University of Oxford regarding diagnosis of people at clinical high risk for psychosis.
