We are seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Academic Administrator who will assist with the operational aspects of postgraduate administration. Working closely with the Senior Academic Administrator and Teaching Facilitator you will ensure that all areas of the course are delivered effectively.

You should have experience in a large complex organisation with proven skills in operational management and effective service provision.  You will have the ability to gain the confidence of senior colleagues and to establish strong working relationships at all levels within the department.  The ability to understand the informational needs of others and to disseminate complex information effectively is essential, together with having a high level of personal integrity with the ability to take on the responsibility for your own work. You will be highly organised and have experience of working within a complex and pressurised environment and have the ability to prioritise to ensure successful outcomes are achieved. Excellent IT skills are also expected.

This full-time permanent post is funded by the Department and is based at The Department of Biochemistry, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QU               

This position is graded on the University’s Grade 5 scale. The actual starting salary offered will be based on qualifications and relevant skills acquired.
