Job Purpose

  • Working directly with the Head of International Recruitment, meet institutional and College targets in relation to the University's International Recruitment strategy and agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • To lead on the strategic development and operational management of Glasgow's promotional and student recruitment activities across the region, line managing the Glasgow-based and in-country officer(s) for that region.
  • To welcome and plan senior delegations from that region interpreting specific University needs in conjunction with the Dean of Global Engagement. This requires high level engagement with government agencies and sponsors.
  • To support the delivery of institutional internationalisation strategic objectives.
    Undertake market intelligence for the region identifying future trends, opportunities for new product development and sector wide trends.
  • Facilitate the development of partnerships / collaborations with key overseas institutions, agents, government agencies and other contacts within and outside the University.
  • To work alongside fellow International Recruitment Managers on joint projects and to Deputise for the Head of - International Recruitment where necessary.
