Applications are invited for the above part-time temporary post.

The post holder will liaise with workplaces in the area to promote and plan workplace training.  They will also be responsible for administering the Welsh Language programme of the National Centre for Learning Welsh.

Learn Welsh north west at Bangor University is one of 11 providers of Welsh for Adults courses nationally, and since 1 August 2016, has been responsible for teaching Welsh for Adults across the counties of Anglesey, Gwynedd and Conwy.

Learn Welsh north west is responsible for provision for approximately 2,200 individual learners across the three counties, and operates on a budget of £1.6M.  The staff team will consist of 28 full-time or fractional staff and approximately 40 part-time tutors. 

The successful candidate will have 2 AS Levels, or 1 A Level or NVQ level 4 (or equivalent) in an administrative or educational discipline or have equivalent experience. He/she will also have experience of effective project administration.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this post.

The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible and the position is available for a period of 12 months.

Bydd deilydd y swydd yn cyd-gysylltu gyda gweithleoedd yr ardal er mwyn hyrwyddo a chynllunio hyfforddiant ar gyfer y gweithle.  Bydd hefyd yn gyfrifol am weinyddu rhaglen Cymraeg Gwaith y Ganolfan Dysgu Cymraeg Genedlaethol.

Mae Dysgu Cymraeg y Gogledd-Orllewin (DCGO) ym Mhrifysgol Bangor yn un o 11 darparwr cyrsiau dysgu Cymraeg i oedolion yn genedlaethol, ac ers 1 Awst 2016, mae wedi bod yn gyfrifol am ddysgu Cymraeg i Oedolion ar draws siroedd Ynys Môn, Gwynedd a Chonwy.
