The Director of Marketing, Recruitment and International (MRI) will lead Swansea University to increase student recruitment at home and abroad, whilst growing our reputation as a world-leading University.

An influential member of the University’s Professional Services Management Team, the Director of MRI will provide leadership, expert advice and guidance on all marketing and student recruitment matters across the University. They will also have significant input into strategic decisions regarding business development and income diversification.  The Director of MRI will work to the Registrar & Chief Operating Officer, and closely with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (International), other members of the Senior Management Team and key external stakeholders to continually enhance the University brand in support of the University’s strategic ambitions.

You will be a qualified marketing professional with proven strategic track record, experience of increasing student recruitment in the UK and overseas and establishing and growing an international brand. An inspiring leader, your will have proven experience of motivating and developing large teams, managing large budgets, and delivering marketing campaigns that demonstrate return on investment. You will have a strong commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrable ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
