NIHR BioResource for Translational Research (NIHR BioResource) is recruiting a Contracts Manager to join our Business team. The scale and nature of the NIHR BioResource requires significant contract and procurement activity and the establishment of research collaboration agreements with external partners, leading to the creation of this new and exciting role.

About the job:
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for all aspects of contract management for the NIHR BioResource including new contracts and renewal of existing contracts, managing the procurement activities of the NIHR BioResource, and working with the University Research Operations Office on the establishment of new, and renewal of existing, research collaboration agreements with external partners, both public and private sector.
The role will require compliance and control of the delivery of procurements and contracts along with records management, and data protection and GDPR regulations as appropriate.
The role holder will also be required to strategically manage internal and external relationships.

The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 30 November 2024 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle. It was announced last year that NIHR BioResource will receive new funding over the next 5 years.
Our offices are on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus CB2 0QQ (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre).
