The University has an exciting opportunity for a Technician within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS).
In this role, you will manage and deliver high quality technical services for teaching and to provide specialist technical expertise in the Biomolecular Sciences/Biochemistry subject area. You will be responsible for the organisation and efficient use of teaching lab resources (eg space, equipment, consumables), and day-to-day management of specialist facilities and technical/operational support staff. In addition, you will be actively involved in all aspects of technical support required for practical skills labs and workshops for UG and PG students.
Salary will be Grade 6, £30,502 - £34,308 per annum.
This post is full time and fixed term. This post is to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.
