And, right now, our IT Services department has an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, self-motivated individual who will play a key role in the development, innovation, enhancement, design, and operational support of our applications.
Join the University of East London and become a part of our multi-disciplinary team of application specialists and delivery experts. As an Application Support & Development Specialist, you will play a key role in the operational support and enhancement of applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and MS Dynamics, Financial System, Learning Systems, HR System, Timetabling. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely but may need to travel to our Stratford or Docklands campus occasionally when required.
Your highly-developed IT skills and experience will enable you to manage multiple corporate applications systems effectively within a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will contribute to the existing developmental roadmap, and ensure operational and developmental activities are planned efficiently according to strategic priorities. You will also contribute to technical solutions and improvements, as well as collaborating on design.
The successful candidate for this role will be a positive team player who proactively supports activities and has the confidence to progress chase information. You will have a proven ability to work in high-pressure project environments, and produce key deliverables to tight deadlines by effectively managing multiple priorities. Excellent all-round communication skills is essential as you'll build relationships with a variety of key senior stakeholders and vendors.
