Due to our Assessment Officer going on maternity leave, we are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Assessment Officer for a period of cover. You will lead and line manage our developing and hardworking professional service team who are responsible for the administration of the high-stakes process of medical student assessment for Lancaster Medical School.
You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure whilst developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with the assessment team, internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using computer packages at an advanced level are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department. Ideally you will have previous administrative experience of working in a high-stakes environment of higher education or NHS.
Excellent interpersonal, motivational and interpersonal skills alongside a high degree of accuracy are essential. A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with a wide range of colleagues, calm under pressure with an eye for detail and accuracy.
