We have an exciting opportunity to join our new formed, growing team of Organisational Development professionals working to put our people at the heart of everything we do. This is a newly established role with an opportunity to grow and develop. The role is based within the Human Resources department at our Kings Meadow Campus and will be offered on a hybrid basis. In this role you will oversee the design and deployment of interventions that will support the successful delivery of our staff related to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) priorities. Reporting to the Associate Director of Organisational Development, you will be responsible for leading an established team to design and deliver our HR EDI plan.
You will use your subject matter expertise to advise and support senior university leaders and HR colleagues on EDI related activities, whilst providing expert advice and support across the EDI remit to our strategic partners and managers.
You will be passionate about EDI and confident to challenge the status quo. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effect change and influence policy, process and cultural practices in line with our values, organisational ambitions and best practice.
You will have proven experience of developing and co-ordinating EDI focused people development initiatives in a large, complex organisation. You will have experience of working with and influence senior management, as well as communications experience and continuous improvement practices, ideally relating to people.
We are looking for someone who is committed to the University’s values of Inclusivity, Ambition, Openness, Fairness and Respect. We set ourselves high standards and support one another to deliver fair and equitable solutions.
What can we offer you?
A friendly and supportive working environment. We offer opportunities to grow and develop within your role.
We provide a competitive employment package whilst supporting the well-being of our staff to help them reach their full potential.
We strive to provide a range of benefits and rewards, including leading fitness and health facilities, staff discounts with a wide range of retailers and leisure services, along with salary sacrifice schemes, generous annual leave entitlement and attractive pension offering. You can find more about our benefits package here.
