The team delivers dynamic, contextualised business insights to support academic quality assurance and enhancement, institutional strategic decision-making, business planning and continuous improvement. We work with colleagues across the University to support senior leaders in making well-informed and evidence-led decisions. Our remit includes horizon scanning and providing interpretation of the implications of economic and policy changes on the University. We ensure that the University meets statutory and regulatory reporting requirements and provide guidance on compliance with conditions of registration with the Office for Students.
As Data Analyst (Student and Data Returns), you will provide management information and business insight in relation to student data, including scenario modelling to support student number planning and delivery of strategy. You will be responsible for supporting student data quality assurance to ensure that BCU student statutory returns are accurate, timely and comply with the latest requirements defined by the regulatory body.
You will also develop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio of work undertaken by the Planning and Performance Department and will be given opportunities to work across a variety of tasks within the department in response to business need and prioritisation of work across the academic year.
