We have a brand-new amazing opportunity within our Electronics & Software Faculty Services for those who have experience in AI and systems development.
This opportunity focuses on creating, conducting and advising on scientific and research computing protocols, data analysis, software simulation, digital architecture and coding including machine learning. Other responsibilities will include:
The role also has the potential to become an interface between initial software-based simulation which informs and then hands over to technical services colleagues to run physical testing elsewhere in the faculty (the latter using the extensive range of physical testing equipment available).

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to complete a fully funded Level 7 apprenticeship (equivalent to Masters degree level) in Artificial Intelligence, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for the scheme.
