An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join the University’s Pensions Team (within the HR function) as a full time Pensions Senior Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and will bring their excellent communication and interpersonal skills to this role, where the need to work accurately is combined with the ability to work as part of a team focussed on service delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of pensions related administrative activities including:

  • carrying out a variety monthly administration processes
  • assisting with queries from scheme members, colleagues and external service providers
  • providing day to day supervision of junior members of the team
  • assisting in the preparation for Trustee meetings.

You will have:

  • excellent planning and organizational skills
  • attention to detail enabling you to work with a high level of accuracy
  • the ability to understand and use complex information in processing and communications
  • good interpersonal skills for customer care and team working
  • the ability to work flexibly to accommodate changing priorities
  • experience of assisting or supervising junior colleagues

Previous pensions experience is preferred but not required.
