We are seeking an Administrator to join our Operations team which is managed within BU’s Student Services. You will work closely with Additional Learning Support department to support and provide training requirements for the accurate and consistent delivery of a professional and efficient claims and compliance service.
The post-holder will be required to develop and maintain an exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge of funding issues and to act as our Cudos Champion for the new online invoicing system.
Tact and diplomacy are key elements of this role as are the ability to remain calm under pressure and in challenging situations, especially at peak periods when the workload will require prioritisation. Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work effectively with non-specialists both within the University and with Student Finance England and all its counterparts will be required.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, to cover the career break of an established member of staff. Consideration may also be given to the position being offered as a secondment opportunity, but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.
