An opportunity has arisen for a part-time administrator to join the department of Psychiatry to provide research and administrative support to the ATTEND trial, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the research and related activities and assist with other administrative duties within the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry group as needed.
This will involve providing excellent administrative support across a range of functions, being responsible for making many arrangements on behalf of the Professor and her team, working efficiently and effectively and communicating with the team and others in the department in the appropriate manner. Sometimes rigid deadlines need to be met in an accurate, timely and organised fashion.
This role will encompass direct communication with a wide variety of staff, visitors, and students throughout the department as well as the NHS, funders, research collaborators across different institutions, and participants along with other University colleagues.

You will have previous administrative experience and will be used to managing a large, varied and confidential workload. You will be a flexible team player, possessing high levels of organisational and IT skills. As well as the ability to think creatively and flexibly about your role, you will need to have the confidence to respond on behalf of the research teams to a wide range of individuals, groups and organisations.
