An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Manager to join the Research & Innovation Service.
This post is key in the delivery of the University’s Research and Innovation Services. You will be responsible for managing the research operational services on a day to day basis for the team supporting two Faculties, Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences. The role involves providing strategic and operational support across the research activity and managing the team to deliver this. You will be expected to provide strategic advice and guidance to a range of academic and administrative staff; work closely with the Faculties’ Associate Deans for Research to deliver their research strategy and undertake projects on behalf of the Director and PVC Research and Innovation. In undertaking this role you will be the lead in crafting the support available to schools and academics and will draw on the Research Managers, Contract Manager and Relationship Managers as needed.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis up to 30 September 2024 to cover the secondment of the current post holder.
