It is anticipated that a hybrid working pattern can be adopted for this role, where the successful candidate can work from home and the office. However, as this role is contractually aligned to our Milton Keynes office it is expected that some attendance in the office will be required when necessary and in response to business needs. We’d expect this to be approximately quarterly.

The role

People Services is committed to providing The Open University with high quality people solutions and is valued for its efficiency, expertise, partnering capability and service. We are currently looking for an experienced, pragmatic, and confident Data Quality Analyst.

You will be required to support the People Data & Compliance Manager in the design and implementation of a Data Quality capability across People Services. Working with the MI & Insight team and People Services (PS) delivery teams, this role is key to ensuring the development of our staff data strategy and management that is central to the delivery of the services carried out by PS.

You will be responsible for implementing a Data Quality Management (DQM) service, delivering data quality analytics and reporting, data quality issue management and root cause analysis in alignment to the service design framework to the standards defined within the framework.

Skills and experience

This role will suit you if you have:

  • An ability to communicate complex data issues simply.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous exposure to Data Quality initiatives or activities.
  • Previous exposure to SAP SuccessFactors.
